Neuroscience Program:
Neuroscience focuses on understanding the mental and physical states of an individual resulting from the activity of the nervous system at molecular, cellular, organismal, and societal levels. The program was established with the aim of education and research in studying the nervous system, with the goal of understanding brain function and discovering new therapeutic methods. The Neuroscience Department began accepting students in 2008, alongside the establishment of the faculty, and continues to admit interested students every year.
Addiction Studies Program: The Addiction Program focuses on studying risky and pleasure-seeking behaviors that have become obsessive. Research, education, and exploration of this disorder, which has psychological, social, and economic consequences, are among the program's objectives. This department also began admitting students when the faculty was established and has continued to do so every year.
Medical Imaging Science and Technology Program: The Medical Imaging Technology program is an interdisciplinary field that uses various advanced and up-to-date imaging techniques and protocols to improve and enhance diagnostic services for human diseases. Students in this program are trained in the physical and engineering principles of imaging systems and the signals that create images. They become familiar with innovative anatomical, physiological, and metabolic imaging methods of the human body and contribute to improving and expanding the use of these techniques. This department started admitting students in 2019 with a specialization in neuroimaging.
