Indiana University Delegation paid a visit to TUMS for the second time

A Delegation from Indiana University visited TUMS Core Facility

Following the last year’s visit of Indiana University delegation from TUMS, they visited TUMS Core facility for future collaborations on August 1^st. Microscopically analysis , cell culture, microbiological analysis, material analysis, molecular biology and instrumental chemistry laboratories were among the units this delegation visited.

During their visit they involved in talking with postgraduate candidate and students explained their projects on the field of Tissue engineering, biotechnology, nanotechnology, neuroscience and molecular medicine.

In this visit, products of School of Advanced Technologies in Medicine were introduced, and exchanging PhD students was considered for collaborations between Indiana University and TUMS.

The delegation expressed their interests in research grants for PhD students at TUMS, and also the productions by faculty members which are used in the TUMS Core Facility.

Finally, the delegation also expressed enthusiasm for collaborations in the fields of tissue engineering and nanotechnology.
