Consultation Meeting Held with International Students of the Faculty
At the request of the Scientific Association of the School of Advanced Technologies in Medicine, and with the aim of expanding scientific collaboration with international students, reviewing their challenges and requests, improving services, and enhancing the overall quality of their academic experience, a meeting was held on Saturday, 21 November 2025, with the presence of Dr. Tabatabaei, Vice Dean for International Affairs, and Dr. Taleb, Vice Dean for Cultural and Student Affairs, in the Faculty Council Hall. During the session, international students shared their views and concerns, and the faculty officials provided explanations and appropriate solutions.
During the meeting, it was proposed that international students contribute to academic and cultural networking by collaborating with universities and professors in their home countries, and act as communication liaisons between the School of Advanced Technologies in Medicine and their home institutions.
It was also decided that, in collaboration with the Scientific Association, educational workshops and journal clubs in English will be organized for all international students of the university to support their academic development and strengthen their international engagement. Additionally, based on the facilities available at the faculty, cultural ceremonies and national celebrations of different countries will be held with the active participation of international students to promote a multicultural environment and enhance international interactions within the faculty.
At the end of the meeting, the vice deans emphasized the continuation of such sessions and the faculty’s commitment to supporting the academic and cultural activities of international students.
